Sirisia politician and businessman Moses Nandalwe has accussed his estranged wife of turning to the mainsteam media to peddle lies against him.
Speaking to WakajuanessLive.Com, the ODM activist and parliamentary aspirant stated that his wife has turned to media propaganda after exausting all other avenues to frustrate him.
“My wife has been frustrating me from all coners and spheres of life includig taking me to court. What she is now doing is to tarnish my name in public with the aim of embarrassing me and portraying me as a beast,” said Nandalwe during the telephone interview with Wakajuaness Live.
Mr. Nandalwe, who lost his mother a month ago, was reacting to a story by K24tv which had claimed that Nandalwe had thrown his wife out of a car.
According to the publicaion, Nandalwe allegedly threw his ex-wife, Elizabeth Were, correspondent with a local newspaper, out of his car and taking away their two children, aged 2 and one and half years respectively.
In a police report made at Industrial Area police station, and seen by K24 Digital, Ms Were recorded that on November 30, 2021, the politician threw her out of his vehicle and left with their two children without her consent.
According to the OB number 50 /30/11/2021, the Star Newspaper correspondent reported to the police station at around 3:50pm on the material day that her ex-husband took away the minors.
The journalist also accused Mr. Nandalwe of snatching her phone and logng to her Facebook account to impersonate that she had willingly given him the children.
However, the K24Tv reporter did not seem to have reached out to the politician for comment, something Nandalwe has critisized heavily through his Facebook post.
“Who knows this propaganda newspaper?” He asked.
Additionally, Mr. Nandalwe gave his side of the story, dismissing the car allegations while challenging the ex lover to rove her accusations with any visible injuries if indeed she was thrown out of a vehicle.
‘It’s true I made efforts to see the kids and I had brough them gifts from by international trips and I took the kids with me because I’m aware she forced my kids out of my palatial home in Sirisia to stay with them in a bedseater house with her young sister in Nairobi. I’m a loving father and husband; I can’t allow my own kids to grow up on a sofaset.”
He added: “Our both families have been in touch to solidify our marrage but she doesn’t listen to anyone.”
The Nandalwe Foundation CEO also narrated that the ex wife has been frustrating him with court cases which, after failing to convince the courts to order him remit Ksh300,000 to her for child upkeep, she withdrew the case.
“My my ex wife has really frustrated me. She has been working hard to ensure that every time I rise on my feet, she brings me down. After failing, she is now using the media to soil my reputaion.”
On the K24 story, Nandalwe read malice in the news artcicle, revealing that the writer of that piece, Sheilla Mutua, is also his ex girlfriend, and was colluding with Were to mess his public image. Mr. Nandalwe is veeking to unseat the embattled John Waluke as the Sirisia MP.
Last year, a seemingly depressed Nandalwe posted on his Facebook wall narrating how Ms Were has plunged him into depression.
