The legendary Radio Maisha Rhumba host Titi Nagwalla and musician Emma Jalamo are set to perfom in Bungoma this month.

The former Radio Jambo and Milele FM radio presenter will be making a come back to Bungoma after 5 years on Friday 18th November, 2022 while Emma Jalamo will perform on 2nd December, 2022.

Confirming the calender, Zuri Place owner and political analyst Mr. Wafula Buke said the journalist and the artist will host a Rhumba show at the Kanduyi-based entertainment destination, which boasts of a huge space that can accommodate 2,000 revellers if well packaged.

“We shall be hosting two important events; Titi Nagwalla on Friday 18th of this November and Emma Jalamo on December 2, 2022, at Zuri Place,” said Mr. Buke.

This comes barely a week after military band Maroon Commandos performed at the same Zuri Place on 30th October, 2022, which was attended by multitude of revellers from across Western Kenya.

Mr. Buke adds that this is part of Zuri’s menu to give their revellers a variety of quality entertainment they deserve.

The Legendary Nagwalla kicked off his journey in the media industry back in 2004 at KBC, despite training as an engineer.

A few years later, he landed a job at Royal Media Services where he worked with Granton Samboja (Taita Taveta Governor), and the two would, later on, join Mediamax.

However, in September 2019, Nagwalla was among employees who were laid off by Mediamax following a redundancy notice effected on 30th September 2019. At that particular time, more than a 100 employees were sent home.

On the other hand, the Ohangla sensational Emma Jalamo has enjoyed nearly two decades of music, with his We Chayo Jathum, Amilo Nyar Nyakach, Utanikumbuka and Odhis Randere among his notable hits.

Mr. Buke has urged residents of Bungoma, Kakamega, Eldoret as well as Trans Nzoia to turn up in large numbers and enjoy their moments without any disruption, assuring ample parking.

Zuri Place (former Twin Peaks) is located along Webuye-Malaba Highway near Rubis Petrol station.

Gate charges will be Sh300 for each show.
