The HWPL World Peace Summit is set to mark its 10th anniversary September 18, 2024, that will be celebrated in South Korea and across 122 countries.
This year’s theme, ‘Creating World Peace Community through Regional Collaboration,’ highlights a decade of global dedication to peace and aims to strategize future global harmony efforts.
Founded in 2014, the Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) brought together over a thousand leaders from politics, religion, and other sectors for its inaugural summit in Seoul.
This initial event focused on conflict resolution, religious harmony, and legal frameworks for enduring peace.
The anniversary celebration will review the progress made since 2014 and plan future initiatives. It will feature various sessions across participating countries, emphasizing regional talent and networks to address local peace challenges and harness collective efforts.
HWPL’s slogan, “Let’s have everyone become a messenger of peace,” underscores its call for personal responsibility in peacebuilding.

Chairman Lee Man-hee of HWPL, reflecting on the 9th Anniversary in 2023, emphasized the need for peace beyond mere words, lamenting the loss of young lives to conflict and calling for a lasting legacy of peace for future generations.
