Kibabii University recently hosted a dedicated cohort of passionate journalists from Bungoma County.

Spanning four enlightening days, from October 23rd to October 26th, 2023, the annual workshop was a collaborative effort orchestrated by UNESCO Kenya National Commission and AKCMO.

Themed “Capacity Building Workshop for Community Radio Professionals on Content Development and a Variety of Information, Communication, and Education (IEC),” this year’s workshop was structured to fortify the journalistic abilities and knowledge of its participants.

The workshop proved to be an unequivocal success, serving as a platform for journalists to delve into pivotal facets of their profession, aimed at honing their skills and broadening their expertise. Notable highlights from the workshop encompassed a range of crucial areas:
