The Mulembe Networking Forum (MNF) is gaining substantial momentum as it recently convened its second edition in Kakamega County.

This non-profit Community-Based Organization has been diligently uniting professionals, entrepreneurs, artists, and community members with the goal of fostering socio-economic and cultural empowerment across Western Kenya.

Ms. Namalwa Chesoli, the visionary founder of MNF, envisions a forum dedicated to uplifting its members and the broader community by offering valuable information, sharing ideas, and providing access to opportunities through meticulously organized conferences and training sessions.

Speakers at the event expressed admiration for the founders of MNF, asserting that it’s only a matter of time before the residents of Western Kenya begin to reap significant benefits from these noble initiatives.

Kakamega County Secretary, Mr. Lawrence Abuhaka, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and reassured attendees that the County Government of Kakamega stands firmly behind Mulembe Networking Forum’s mission. He pledged full support to facilitate the forum’s continuous growth and ensure it becomes a catalyst for the community’s development.

“The County Government of Kakamega is committed to empowering forums like MNF, and we are delighted to host such a commendable initiative,” Mr. Abuhaka declared while addressing the guests gathered at the Golf Club Hotel.

The event also witnessed the presence of former presidential aspirant and renowned gospel artist Pastor Reuben Kigame, along with a host of other dignitaries who added their support and encouragement to the forum’s mission.

MNF has already made considerable strides by conducting various training workshops for youth groups. These workshops have equipped the youth with essential skills necessary for acquiring loans from the Youth Fund, thereby creating opportunities for their personal and collective growth.

The Forum has also extended its support to women’s groups and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), assisting them in securing loan facilities from the Women Fund to bolster their businesses and entrepreneurial pursuits.

Furthermore, MNF has provided members with training in crucial aspects such as business registration, tendering processes and branding. The forum thrives on collaborations and partnerships among its members, fostering a spirit of unity and mutual support.

Members of Mulembe Networking Forum enjoy access to free legal, business, and health advice from professionals. This guidance provides an invaluable resource for those seeking to navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship and community initiatives.

The group remains dedicated to its mission of supporting and promoting small businesses and artists through its conferences and virtual meetings. Through these endeavors, MNF aims to be a driving force behind the economic and cultural development of the region.

The Mulembe Unified Networking Forum was founded in April 2023, and its growth and impact in a short time highlight the enthusiasm and commitment of its members and leaders to empower and uplift Western Kenya.
