Bungoma Queens Football Club received a generous boost from Talanta Hela, comprising two sets of playing uniforms, a significant cash injection of Ksh100,000, and additional footballs.
The donation was made in the spirit of supporting the newly promoted team in the FKF Women’s Premier League.
Ms. Neddie Kutsuru, representing the Sports Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba, presented the sets of uniforms to the delighted Bungoma Queens.
The uniforms included a white set for home matches and a blue set for away matches, providing the team with a fresh and unified look.
The official unveiling ceremony took place at Sudi Stadium on a day when Bungoma Queens faced off against Kibera Queens, resulting in an exciting 0-0 draw.

In addition to the uniforms, Ms. Kutsuru handed over a cash sum of Ksh100,000 on behalf of Sports CS Ababu Namwamba. This monetary contribution is expected to further bolster the team’s operations and preparations for the upcoming matches.
Moreover, Talanta Hela, in a show of commitment to the development of football clubs in Kenya, provided additional footballs to enhance training and practice sessions for Bungoma Queens.
