Residents could not hide their joy as they broke into song and dance to welcome the new development, flanking their legislator as he launched the milestone.
According to residents, the bridge posed a serious risk to their lives, especially for schoolchildren during the rainy season where it would often flood, severely paralysing their daily activities.
